At just 12 years old, Las Vegas’ Khloe Rose Kohlmeier launches www.Mitzvah.Vegas
Las Vegas, NV (PRUnderground) October 16th, 2026
At just 12 years old, Las Vegas’ Khloe Rose Kohlmeier launches www.Mitzvah.Vegas, an initiative inspiring Southern Nevadans to make kindness a monthly commitment through community projects and donations starting at just 99 cents.
For Khloe Rose Kohlmeier, a Bat Mitzvah is more than a celebration of faith and growing up. It is an opportunity to make a difference.
Following her Bat Mitzvah at Temple Beth Sholom on October 10, the 12-year-old Las Vegas resident is turning a deeply personal milestone into an enduring mission of compassion with the launch of Mitzvah.Vegas an initiative designed to bring people together through simple acts of kindness, meaningful community projects, and ongoing support for neighbors in need.
Inspired by Jewish traditions and her love of helping others, Khloe wants to make giving back something people do not just occasionally, but every month.
“My Bat Mitzvah was a really special day, but I want the kindness to keep going,” Khloe said. “I love helping people, and I hope Mitzvah.Vegas brings more people together to help our neighbors every month. Even a small act of kindness can make someone’s day better.”
Turning a Meaningful Milestone Into Lasting Impact
Mitzvah.Vegas is being developed as a community directory connecting residents throughout Las Vegas, North Las Vegas, Henderson, and Clark County with opportunities to perform mitzvahs–acts of kindness, service, and goodwill rooted in Jewish tradition.
The initiative will also organize a different community service project each month, creating accessible ways for individuals, families, and organizations to make a tangible difference close to home.
The first planned project, scheduled for November, will provide winter care packs filled with essential hygiene supplies and warm clothing for people in need. The project reflects Khloe’s desire to respond to practical community needs while encouraging others to discover how much even a small contribution can accomplish when people work together.
Once the platform is completed, Mitzvah.Vegas, supporters can contribute just 99 cents, $1.99, or $2.99 per month. These modest recurring donations will help fund supplies and monthly projects, demonstrating that philanthropy does not have to begin with a large gift. Sometimes, it begins with a small act and a willingness to care. Khloe hopes to have the social media sites and website finished by early November 2026.
A Young Heart With a Passion for Helping Others
Khloe’s commitment to kindness grew from experiences that have helped shape her character and her connection to Jewish life. After spending six years at Chabad, she developed a deep appreciation for Jewish traditions and holidays. Her Jewish identity remains an important part of who she is, influencing how she sees the world and her responsibility to others.
One of the ways Khloe most enjoys helping is by giving food to people experiencing homelessness. That simple but meaningful act helped inspire the mission behind Mitzvah.Vegas: to recognize the needs of others and take action, one person and one project at a time.
Outside her philanthropic interests, Khloe enjoys spending time with her family and her two beloved cats, Cream Cheese and Marshmallow. She also stays active through gymnastics, table tennis, and pickleball.
Her parents, David and Kamelia Kohlmeier, are proud of the compassionate, thoughtful young woman she is becoming–and of her desire to turn her Bat Mitzvah into something that will continue benefiting others long after the celebration has ended.
An Invitation to Make Kindness a Habit
While many Bat Mitzvah celebrations commemorate an important step in a young person’s life, Khloe hopes hers will also inspire a broader community to come together around a shared purpose.
Mitzvah.Vegas invites residents, families, businesses, and community organizations to participate in monthly projects, contribute to the mission, and share opportunities to serve those who need a helping hand. The goal is to create an ongoing network of kindness that makes giving back more accessible and inspires people of all ages to get involved.
For Khloe, the message is simple: You do not have to be an adult, have a large budget, or change the world all at once to make a difference. You can begin with what you have, where you are, and a decision to help someone else.
Her Bat Mitzvah may have marked one special day, but through
Khloe is working to make kindness a tradition that continues throughout the year.
Small acts, big hearts. One community, countless opportunities to make a difference.
